Scot Ackerman, MD, FACR, is a board-certified radiation oncologist, Medical Director of Ackerman Cancer Center and Medical Director of Ackerman Urology. After completing his training at Columbia University in New York City, he relocated to Jacksonville, where he has been in private practice for more than 35 years. He has been an integral force in advancing cancer care across Florida, leading the world's first physician-owned practice to offer proton therapy to patients.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ackerman has been recognized for his dedication to providing exceptional healthcare to the Jacksonville community. He received the 2023 We Care Jacksonville, Inc. Lifetime Achievement Award and the 2016 We Care Jacksonville Award of Philanthropy for his ongoing commitment to ensuring that high-quality care is accessible to all residents in Northeast Florida.
Dr. Ackerman currently serves on the board of the Ackerman Cancer Foundation, was appointed to the Florida Board of Medicine by Governor Ron DeSantis, and works alongside Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis as one of the medical professionals serving on the Florida Cancer Connect Collaborative.

Gregory Alexander, MD, is a board-certified radiation oncologist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Thomas Jefferson University, where he serves as enterprise physician lead for LD-RT for osteoarthritis. He practices primarily at Jefferson Cherry Hill Hospital and Jefferson Washington Township Hospital.
Dr. Alexander earned his medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and subsequently completed a preliminary year in internal medicine at St. Luke's University Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He then completed his radiation oncology residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident and was awarded the RSNA Roentgen Resident/Fellow research award.
Dr. Alexander's research and clinical interests are varied. He has published numerous manuscripts pertaining to tumors of the central nervous system, prostate cancers, and head and neck malignancies. Additionally, he has an interest in non-malignant diseases. He designed and serves as principal investigator for the clinical trial RADIANT-SUPPoRT, a prospective study exploring the use of radiotherapy for hidradenitis suppurativa.
