Radiant Joint Alliance is creating a nationwide network of high school students who want to make arthritis education easier to find in their own communities. State Outreach Ambassadors connect local organizations with approved educational materials, help expand community outreach, and support the location directory.

Community Outreach
Contact libraries, senior centers, YMCAs, community centers, and arthritis organizations in your state.
Educational Materials
Ask local organizations for permission to display or distribute approved flyers and patient resources.
Local Awareness
Share approved educational posts through school, neighborhood, and community social media channels.
Community Partnerships
Build relationships with libraries, senior centers, YMCAs, schools, arthritis organizations, and other community groups that can help share approved educational resources.
Location Directory
Identify possible LDRT programs, check existing listings, and submit additions or corrections for review.
Community Events
Take part in local health fairs or community events when appropriate opportunities are available.
Building a Nationwide Network
Our goal is to have ambassadors serving communities in all 50 states. Each state may have several students working independently or as a small team. We do not know how quickly the program will grow, but every new ambassador helps us reach communities we could not reach alone.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who can apply?
The program is intended for high school students in the United States who are interested in community service, healthcare, education, or public health. Students from every state are welcome.
Do I need medical experience?
No. Ambassadors use materials and outreach templates provided by Radiant Joint Alliance. They do not give medical advice or recommend treatment to individual patients.
How much time is required?
There is no fixed schedule. Students may choose activities that fit their availability and participate whenever your schedule allows. Every contribution makes a difference.
Can more than one student serve in the same state?
Yes. We expect most states to have several ambassadors, and students may work independently or coordinate local outreach together.
Can the hours count toward a school service requirement?
In many cases, yes. Ambassador activities are designed as meaningful community service through a registered nonprofit educational initiative. Because each school has its own policy, students should obtain approval before beginning. Radiant Joint Alliance can provide a service-hours letter or activity record confirming the work completed.

If you're a parent, a retiree, a nurse, or just someone who cares about this getting in front of more patients, there's a role here too.
Local Outreach
Share our site and location directory where you already spend time: a Nextdoor post, a local Facebook group, a senior center bulletin board, or a note to your own doctor's office.
Hospital Research
Help us track down LDRT programs that aren't in our directory yet, especially in states where we have few or no listings. Good fit if you don't mind some digging and a few phone calls.
Community Events
Represent Radiant Joint Alliance at health fairs, senior center visits, or community events in your area. Hand out flyers, answer basic questions, point people to the site.
